As a reporter for The Patriot-News, Jack won numerous awards for stories examining the impact of area homicides; how stolen military weapons find their way back to the street; and the lasting impact the Three Mile Island nuclear accident had on the Harrisburg region.
In 2005, Jack was appointed as an assistant editor at The Patriot-News, where his responsibilities included overseeing and editing a staff of more than 20 reporters and coordinating the paper’s police and court coverage. Jack also assisted in the ongoing transition to expand the paper’s online presence.
At the end of 2012, Jack decided to leave The Patriot-News to pursue the opportunity to start his own public relations and communications firm, Message Prose LLC. At its heart, the Message Prose approach is about developing journalistic-quality content that shows – not just tells – our clients’ stories.
Through words, pictures and videos, we create original content that highlights the great work and services our clients provide.
